I own many P226s including a German made E2, a MK25 and a Legion.

If I could only have one, it would be the Legion.

Can an E2 grip be converted to a standard grip?

New one's I'd go MK25 as well. Then add SRT, #19 mainspring and a GGI trigger.

My other choice would be to be on the lookout for a used W. German. That is my main carry 226, got it for $550 LNIB.

I’m bidding on a standard 226 with E2 grips. Easy to change if I decide to?

Missed out of the E2. There is an extreme that I’m keeping an eye on.
