First, some of y’all may not know that I am absolutely in love with metal framed Sigs. My likes may not mirror a lot of folks but I can be drawn to something very simple that isn’t necessarily collectible, or to something random such as a date stamped on a slide.

There’s a little plastic in there, but only what is required to battle the Florida Summer CCW conundrum and have some plinking fun Smile

But, my first Sig 14 years ago was a P250, kinda loved it but it didn’t stick around long as I sold it to my brother to move on to bigger and better things.

When the P320 was released I was in between California and Hawaii, finally bought one while stationed in Hawaii but couldn’t particularly enjoy it there. Well, after 8 years in Cali, Hawaii, and overseas I’m now able to finally use a some firearms. Even if MD sucks, it’s the least amount of suck I’ve been in in the past decade.

So, I’m finally able to update with these new fangled RDS, also picked up a GGP slide on sale. And thanks to our fantastically helpful forum member DabigBR, I was able to get a Holosun 508T at a great price. I’ve been very pleased with my 510 on the Banshee so figured I couldn’t go wrong coupled with y’all’s help in the RDS thread recently.

So…Big shoutout to DaBigBR, hit him up with anything you might need in the future and at least give him a chance, was a good guy to deal with and the price was great to boot!

I think this will make a fantastic glovebox/camper gun, which was the intended use.

Now to pick some irons and grab a TLR-7A.

10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

Am am really enjoying my 320. Just dropped it off yesterday to get milled for the Trijicon RMR. I went with Rainier Arms sights. They offer both standard and suppressor height.

Very nice! I think you'll enjoy it. I'm not a big plastic gun fan, either, but the P320 (and P250) have become my go-to in that category. And yes, DaBigBR is good people...he's gotten me a couple of great deals on optics in the past, and he's great to deal with.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Sig X-Ray supressor-height sights if I must have tall sights. The front post is a little thicker at the base and seems more robust than the Dawson that I'd tried in the past, and the blade itself is a little less sharp and snaggy. The rear sight has also hasn't fallen off the gun, which was the ultimate reason that the Dawsons went away.

The large green outline around the front tritium vial on the X-Rays makes it easy to pick up and focus on (much easier than the plain Black Dawson front post), and it contrasts nicely with the rear sight and my red dot...although with your green dot, that might not be quite as pronounced. Honestly, when using the dot I'm not really paying any attention to the irons anyway. When everything is working right with the dot, I don't even notice them...they're just a faint blur at the bottom of my sight picture. I think they're important to have because batteries die and electronics fail, but my biggest feature requirements are that they not snag on stuff and not fall off.
