msh441P320 ‘CIP’ barrels?
Greetings. In the process of collecting parts for a SIG P320 build.
One thing I’ve run into while barrel shopping are listings for a P320 ‘CIP’ barreL. Pictures seem to suggest a little more classic/squared barrel hood/chamber area, versus those I’ve seen in the ‘carry’ sized 9mm.
I believe that ‘CIP’ is a manufacturing spec used in Europe, similar to SAAMI in the US. Not sure how/why that might change the hood’s external profile, or if it’ll work with my growing collection of other P320 parts.
Anyone here have any first-hand experience with the P320 CIP barrels, and can confirm/deny their fit in your average P320 slide?

12131CIP is a required proof marking for all those CIP member countries. Any guns being sold in those countries have to go through the proofing process, then marked as such on the barrel, frame, and slide. I don't think "CIP" has anything to do with the chamber/hood shape.
SIGs made in the USA then sold over Europe, say, Germany as an example, will have the CIP markings. If they remain in the US, then they will not have them.

msh441100% correct, exactly the same.
Stock photo everyone is using is just at a strange angle, apparently.
Other than a little ‘C’ proofmark on one side, no difference.
Not bad considering it was $50 brand new/shipped via CDNN.
