I like this CMP Tisas 1911 copy
Hello,
A while back I purchased a Turkish Tisas M1911A1 repro through the CMP and marked like a GI issue w/ CMP stuff. Pistol seemed well built and tight. Took it to the range the other day to try out for the first time. Just a 100 rounds. Not one problem at all. Even w/ crappy early 20th century GI standard sights it grouped very well. The pics are of the first two mags fired through her. One group 230grain RN plated by X-treme Bullets. The second group 230 grain RN coated by Blue Bullet Company. All my handloads using HP-38 powder. Shot at 7 yards offhand standard nonchalant two hand grip. I thought it did well.

Ok. Is it just me or no pics showing.

Pics aren't showing for me, either Frown.

I've seriously thought about picking one of those up. Ever since we sent our LESO guns back I kind of miss having a GI-style 1911, even if they do bite me.
