...if it's released by the summer? No cuts, direct replacement for the rear sight on the BG 2.0, and very slick.

Slipping the gun into the pocket sans holster just like that, huh? A striker fire gun with no manual safety no less. Roll Eyes

Optics ready slides aren’t tough. This is a 20th century solution for a non-existent 21st century problem.

I can’t see how this is even desired. And yea sticking that thing in your pocket makes him look like a moron.

Not that I would get one, my go to is still my standard P365, but I've seen a lot of people that not only insist on having an optic, but there are even more that must have the "latest & greatest" to carry around for a half hour/day.

That aside, I Can see how someone who wants an optic, would want one that isn't wider than the slide

Will it sell? Yes it will, being the Bodyguard 2.0 is one of the most popular selling conceal carry guns right now.

I should clarify. I love red dot sights. I abhor dovetail mounts. Abhor. Eventually S&W will offer an optics mount that isn’t this. Until then I’m good. Honestly with this gun I’m probably good never getting an optic but that’s me. It barely fits into my pockets. No way is it fitting with an optic.

I bought a Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0 Gear Up package and the gun had an optic pre mounted. A Viridian. And it was made of...Plastic. The Echelon now has a Holosun mounted. The plastic Viridian may go on a .22 rifle.

Those are gonna fly off the shelf, not for me but I can see a large target audience putting those on their pistols.

I have never owned a Viridian that I’m aware of. I have owned off name brand stuff that came free with a gun. For a real gun, not a range/comp gun, I want big name reliability. My go to guns have Trijicon or Aimpoint. And some Holosuns but I have had more quirky stuff with them than the other two but I still trust Holosun but make no doubt I bought Holosun for the price.

Viridian? Not so sure.
