I know there are some late German frame DA/SA P220s that have the required machining that would allow for conversion to SAO.

Does anyone know if a P226 frame could be machined for both DA/SA and SAO? If so, has anyone come across one or have any specifics as to range of S/N's, etc.

Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, the X5 Allround frame is a DA/SA that also has a hole for the SAO safety. I don't know of any non-X-series 226's that were made that way, though.
