I bought 2 of these a while back. One in 9mm and one in 40 S&W. I never shoot the 40 and may sell it. Any idea what these are going for on the used market? I haven't seen any for sale recently to get an idea.

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum

Your best bet is to do historical research on the big auction site. You want to look at completed auctions ti get an impression of what the market is bringing

As an opportunist I picked up an X-Five for just over $800. Have seen a few go for almost three grand. Yikes!

Completed auctions are the way to go as the prices fluctuate wildly.

Welcome to the forum.

The caliber really hurts the value, but I’d think you could get a couple grand out of it in like new condition with everything.

How much more is a 9mm in 98%+ condition with everything that came with them?

A Bar-Sto match barrel in need of fitting is $225. Getting a local gunsmith to hand fit the barrel is maybe $100. In my experience the premium for a 9mm is just slightly less than that.

This thread is gonna get 'nuked'!

It's essentially a WTS ad posted outside the Classified Forum. As the 'new guy' you may be unaware, but such threads are frowned upon and usually 'nuked' post haste. Your best bet is to follow colt_saa's suggestion to determine the potential market value of your X-Five. Good Luck Wink

I apologize if it was interpreted as a WTS ad. It’s not. I haven’t decided to sell the pistol, and if I do, it will be a good while in the future before I do so.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions on how to value it.
