Update: I was wrong about the price I paid. SWIM, looked up the actual auction and emailed me.
Honest mistake… Bought many guns that day and misremembered. Purchase price was $610. (Plus fees and taxes.)

Nice looking P6. I bet that you are going to love shooting it. I really like them as they fit my hand so perfectly. I was fortunate enough to pick up two of them way back when they first started showing up. They were sooooo cheap to purchase then, I had to get two......never regretted it.

If it hasn't already been done, you will likely want to change some springs to help with the trigger pull. There used to be a place that was in the classifieds that would change the feed angles on the original barrels. I never had it done, as I just shot RN ammo(reloads) in mine.

I thought I would reach out to GG on a set of springs and perhaps see if there is anything for the trigger reset.

Nice gun. The P6 is what got me into Sigs. I remember the day my friend showed me his and told what they cost (at the time in 2009, under $300.) I bought one in maybe February/March of that year and still carry it to this day. It's also a NW, 5/92. I put wood grips on it and it's about the sexiest $300 pistol in the world.
I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Before you start grinding on your feed ramp, shoot it with different bullets first. And, as I recall, SIG changed the feed ramps to the new style about 5/82, so your 1/83 pistol should feed anything. Supposedly, these were from the German Border Police. When other agencies wanted to rearm later and sell their old pistols to us, the socialist govt. nixed the idea.
