I was going to move my EPS carry from my Spectre Comp to a regular P365XL, but when I removed the optic plate the original screws are a significantly different length. The longer screws came out of the older Spectre Comp, and the shorter screws the brand new P365XL. Everything looks the same under the plate. When I go to tighten the screws for the optic I’m getting resistance with a fair amount of travel still needed before they’re tight. I can’t tell if the resistance is from the loctite or if I’m out of threads, and I don’t want to push it. Anyone else come across this? Any suggestions?

but if you have a file, try shortening your current screws. I've had to do it on my Glocks with certain optics and I just did it on my P365 with a Holosun SCS Carry. I bought the "correct" screws from Freedom Gorilla and still had to shorten them.

I have a couple different length screws, I can mail you some. I bought boxes of 100 from McMaster-Carr.
