I guess every gun is different. I have a couple of Glock 34s with Barsto barrels. One has the semi-drop-in and the other is a fitted barrel. Both have been super reliable. One has around 40K and the other has 20K+. I honestly can't remember ever having a malfunction with either pistol besides a bad primer a few times.

OP,
I'm not sure how much gain you'll get with a P220. Mine was very accurate with the stock barrel. If we were talking about a P320, I would definitely go with the Barsto but that's a different discussion.

I have some BarSto barrels in other firearms also, and have been happy with them. I've been ecstatic about his support. I once bought a G22 40 to 9 conversion barrel and it kept jamming. I called Irv up, we talked through trouble-shooting steps, and he said to just send it in. He confirmed the issue and shipped me a new barrel.

And this was a used barrel I picked up on the Glxxx forum. That was 15 years ago or so, so I doubt he is as lenient as he was then- but he won my support when I am comparing paying similar prices for a barrel. BarSto is my preferred one now!

For the P220 4.4" slide I did not have a barrel at all. I had the 3.9" carry barrel. The Jarvis was cheaper, with shipping, than the cheapest SIG barrel I could find, or about 40% of what a BarSto barrel would be.

I went with this used Jarvis barrel due to it being the best quality for the buck.

Now I just need to figure out which red-dot for it and I'll be done.
