Sometime ago I owned a nice P210-6 but I have wanted to try the current version. I had been actively looking on the auction sight and forums. I found a shop local to me that had three and allowed me to select the best wood of the three. None were great but I picked what I thought was best and brought it home today. I like the sights and the grips feel perfect for my hand. The slide is very smooth and slick. My only complaint is I have never cared for front slide serrations. I wished they had left those off! Can't wait to shoot it though, maybe next week!

Beautiful example, I need to quit looking at P210 American threads!

You can look but don't go to a gun shop that has them in stock. It very well could cost you some greenbacks!

That looks amazing.

I am currently looking for something new, something accurate, something different from my present mix of handguns and that is always on my mind.
Maybe not the next as I have a lot of Sigs but it is still on the list.
Currently high on the list is the CZ Shadow or TS but I still have a warm place in my heart and home for the P210.

Congrats on a great acquisition. Cool

Shot it today for the first time. All went well. I need more time with it to get some better groups. Certainly nothing to brag about today. At 25 yards with a rest I could put them all within the 8 ring.I tried to shoot with reading glasses and I could see the sights clearly but the target was really hard to see. I put my regular tri focal glasses on and I could see the target but the front sight was not sharp. Old age and bad vision are not a good combination. Frown

After seeing and appreciating these nice photos, I had to go get mine and play while watching TV. Damn I love this thing. Every part in motion is so smooth. Thanks for this post and inspiration of the wonderful P210A.

I love the feel of the Target grips and they look nice to, but I wanted to see if the Hogue standard grip would shoot better for me. I was kind of wild at first, then settled down. I think I will go with these over the target grips. I need to change out the magazine baseplates to better match the grips.

Also did some tinkering on the P228 adding SA strut, seat, and 20# mainspring. Much better action in both DA and SA.
P228 and P210 some of Sig's best work!

Update on the P210. I adjusted the trigger pull from 3.8 pounds down to 2.8 and shot some targets to verify I had no light strikes. All was good. I am amazed at how slick the slide moves on the frame. If you aren't careful it will slide off the frame on it's own if the frame is inclined and you remove the slide lock. I did this while cleaning. Fortunately I had a padded landing ready.

For me that's good advice! Smile

So how much do they cost. Both suggested list and asking price? (so I know how much to take along.)

I read somewhere that they list price is now close to 1800. I got this one for 1499, 1600 with tax.
You can still find them for that 1499 price, and used ones go for around 1100-1200 range. Good luck!

I wonder if Europeans are buying the P210A.

SIG will sell to an NRA instructor for a better than wholsale price.
Lots of dry-fireing and some actual fireing of my P210CA: trigger break force is now about 4.2 pounds-force - about 19 N. Still has creap before break and quite a bit of overtravel. However, best pointing pistol ever. Eventually, APEX or someone will tell more about trigger and how to improve it.

P320, you can lighten the trigger pull yourself. It is easily adjusted. Take the slide off. Remove the screw under the beaver tail and pull the hammer assembly straight up out of the frame. There is a threaded rod with a barrel shaped nut on it. Turn up to increase and down to decrease trigger pull. Drop it back in the frame and reinstall the screw under the beaver tail. Done. Doesn't address creep or overtravel though.
