I have two (2) 12-round magazines for my standard P365 pistol (the one that comes with 10-round mag) and the cartridges rattle in one magazine. Any tips how to cure this annoyance appreciated. No functional issues just the cartridges rattle when loaded. -- Chuck "Never send a man where you can send a bullet."

This is quite common with double column magazines. The cure is to remove one cartridge from the magazine, if it bothers you that much.

Double column magazines in pistols aren't truly double column. They taper to a single row at the top. So there will be times when one or two cartridges are not under spring pressure. If you take one round out it may stop the rattle. I am guessing that it only occurs when you shake the mag with a little force. Realistically, they aren't going to rattle in typical waistband carry.

Thanks for the notes guys. The 12-rd P365 magazine was fine. I buggered the spring when reassembling the magazine after converting the floor plate to fit the 10-rd grip of my pistol. The floor plate comes with the magazine and simply helps the mag fit nicer in the mag well. The OE spring got away from me during the process and I bent it so severely it lost some tension about half way up. Cartridges fed but with more than 6 or 7 rounds some of them rattled. Couldn't find an OE replacement so I went with an NDZ spring. All is right again. -- Chuck "Never send a man where you can send a bullet."
