Sounds a new convert! I still lean towards recommending a revolver to the ones who will forever: never clean their nightstand or CCW gun perpetual limpwrist __________________________ NRA Member "The final weapon is the brain, all else is supplemental." John Steinbeck

I'm telling ya, the dangers of a GLOCK are often underestimated! Old Gaston perfected nothing more than a gateway drug! That G-19 isn't going to be enough, she'll move up to a G-21, then get a taste for Sigs, CZ's. Someone may even let her use a Browning Hi-Power, or a Python, heaven forbid a H&K P7! Then someone comes along and shows her about shotguns, next thing you know, she's all strung out on AR's. Hitting people up for ammo to feed that habit. Soo sad. Hopefully she gets the help she needs. It's sad when you see them tearing it up at a 3 gun, IPSC or IDPA match, coming home with a trophy or two. Trigger finger raw, thumb jacked up from loading too many magazines. If your sister gets into the long range shooting, that's it. GAME OVER! She's too far gone! And to think, it all started with a Glock. This message has been edited. Last edited by: CPD SIG, ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. I'm glad to hear she enjoyed shooting. Encourage her to practice. If possible get her to attend action pistol events like USPSA or IDPA. Under stress, many new shooters have the tendency to wrap their weak hand thumb over their strong hand thumb - not a good outcome with an semi. Action pistol events add a degree of stress to the mix and will help her get the muscle memory in place for proper grip. Also, please make sure you cover drills on clearing jams/malfunctions. Always best to be prepared. Speak softly and carry a
