Got an email for a chance to win one of these with a SilencerCo suppressor from SAF, had to check it out.

A credit card size pocket carry single shot, that can be had in 22wmr is intriguing, until you see what you have to do to fire the thing.

JMO not really a good self defense weapon choice, but in the realm of odd weapons, its a contender for the "why" award.

Pretty cool. I wouldn't mind taking a few shots w/ it.

Played with one while working at a LGS. Couldn't exactly find a niche for it, and it won't fit in a prison wallet.

Debated getting one for use in training cadets on searches and frisks, but too pricey for something I have no real need for, and would have to neuter for safety's sake anyway.

I looked at one. They seem moronic to me. Neat idea but nearly useless.

Surely you jest. I've seen far larger items in a prison wallet, but male and female. And I once did intake screening on a man with a very large penis. I had the PA come down, and he laughed, grabbed it and yanked it off. Turns out it was fake, hollow, and had a NAA mini-revolver in it.

Egad, there's even a suppressed version!

No, this wouldn't be much use in a rapid response self defense scenario. However, if I had an extra $300 burning a hole in my pocket, I could see getting one to cover an "anything is better than nothing" situation, or a back-up to your primary carry. Or hell, just to garner looks at the range.

Nope. Even the NAA guns make more sense than this. A single shot gun that you have to “assemble” to fire 1 round. Of 22. This is a neat engineering project, it has zero actual usefulness. This is dumber than Israeli Carry, Open it, then cock it, then it’s a paperweight. This is a shot in the back of somebodies unsuspecting head gun, ie useless.

300 bucks is just the icing on the cake.

The "cellphone" sized Ideal Conceal .380 is way cooler. Too bad the company 'folded'. Big Grin

Single and two shot pee shooters and NAA revolvers can have some merit as "nostril guns", limited use as it is. But you're not likely to get that thing out and made ready in that kind of situation.

When would that work? You're being held hostage and they've already taken away your primary firearm? (I HATE when that happens, so tired of that. Big Grin ) Other than an unlikely Hollywood scenario, I don't see it.

But free is free. Smile And I'm not opposed to owning guns because they're fun or silly or whatever.

I think it looks like a ton of fun for the weird novelty purchase but I don't think I'd actually roll one out for anything but a hey check this out kind of thing. It hides in relative plainsight as far as just having a random thing that's not gun shaped in your pocket I guess. I think its interesting when folks go out of their way to make gun that doesn't look like gun and then plaster it with obvious gun stuff all over it.

I know better than looking up things like prison wallet. I didn’t need to know that. Ugh

A buddy of mine has one of these. I've played with it a bit. In my opinion, it's the dumbest thing ever. There's more liability than utility in carrying it, and it serves no practical defensive purpose.

I agree with with pedro...I'd rather have one of those NAA mini revolvers. It's smaller, has a higher capacity, and actually could fill a practical role, albeit a very niche one.

And the NAA do fit in a prison wallet; either gender. Smile
