BennerP220I used Seafoam Deep Creep to clean my P22 today...
and it did a great job! I had never used it before but after not cleaning my little Walther P22 after hundreds of rounds it needed a good warsh.
I bought it at Menards. I sprayed the frame, barrel and slide down. I let it sit for a bit. I did the ol' qtip and bore snake. It was a quick clean. I was surprised how well the deep creep cleaned everything up.
So, I just thought I'd let my buddies here know in case anyone is looking for something new for cleaning or lube. It says it can used for lube but I just used it for cleaning. I had some old frog lube I used. I'm thinking I probably shoulda used some grease on the little P22.

limblessbiffI’d be careful using car products on guns. You’re risking jacking up the finish or damaging polymer

BennerP220I was concerned when I first heard of it, too. But, all worries were put to rest today. I wanted to share how good it worked for me. I usually have to scrape carbon around the chamber but it all just wiped off with this stuff.
