NframeCZ97BD sweetness
My oh my this is nice. Very easy to shoot and it weighs a bit. I picked it up used but excellent condition.
First 50 I put through it I knew it was a keeper. Ringing plates at 12 to 100 yards It's going to make me sell my P220 Scorpion.!

esdunbarNframe, I feel like you and I are always looking at the same guns.
I've been thinking about a 97 for a while now. Never owned one. How do you like it compared to other .45's?

PGTI'm on my second. Sold my original 97 to a buddy and ordered a 97B. They're soft shooters though the grip is a little long front to back for my XXL hands.

Ha Yeah we do have similar interests. I have a 75BD and now this. I really like 'em. I'll always like my 1911's but this is right there with it.
Better than my Glock 21 or 41. And in my hands better than the P220.

SevenPlusOneSweet. I've had mine (97B) for 10 years now, one of very few guns I've bought new. Mines as accurate as my Ed Brown or P-220.

jackimoeCGW offers a cool looking barrel bushing mod for them. I got the CGW hammer kit(maybe sear too...I can't remember) The gun is a hoot to shoot.
Zombie green LOK bogies, the grips feel great but the color ain't for everybody

BillyBonesNY97 is a fantastic pistol, love mine and plan to have it "Cajunized" in the near future.

Sea BassI’ve got one, got it a couple of months ago. It’s a great shooter for sure even in stock form.
Might get some CGW parts in the future.

NframeI was out shooting it a lot yesterday. My plated 200 gr reloads are very soft and easy to shoot through the 97, heck 230 factory is really fun.
I just ordered a case of Rem 230 fmj's to get more brass.

whisky2297B was my first CZ. Then a P09. Then a P10c. Then a 2075p RAMI. Then a 75 compact. Looking at a 75B today.
Love my Sigs but carry my Glocks

WetrudgeonWe too own a CZ97B and like it a lot. Alas, it is too large/heavy to conveniently carry (for us, at least) but a good shooter. We shoot it as well or better than our 1911A1 pistols.
We trudge on.

JDGNot a carry gun!! lol As mentioned above! A tank of a gun that out shoots any 45 I've owned. I put a CGW straight blade trigger in mine, along with a competition rear sight, removed the FPB, made it SAO. The 1911 bushing is next to eliminate the crappy loose factory bushing, but for now some medium loctite keeps it tight.

SIGWALLYI love that CZ has a "BD" version of most of their models. I LOVE my 75BD. The de-cocker BD is very "Sig like"...

VoshterkoffI have always thought they were nice, but don't really have a desire for another .45acp. I wonder what is keeping CZ from making them in 10mm.

roberthI had a 97B a few years ago, shouldn't have sold it. I bought another a while back, terrific handgun.

mr kablammoWhen people post about buying an expensive 1911 I refrain from a downer response in their thread. But I am thinking 'you may be buying 110% of the gun of the CZ97B but you are paying 400% of the price'.
That said, if I had the money then I would convert a S&W 4506, and CZ97B to SAO.
