Purchased a SAS and shot it right a way with out lubing. Was disappointed. The groups were about 2X the groups with the original 365 and about 1” to the right. Had trouble as I am use to having a small point to aim at and the sight requires covering it. Indoors dark range.

Was shouting with the wife today and she tried the SAS. Overcast, slight misty rain. The sight was very bright and very easy to find. Much easer and faster than a red dot. The second shot was much quicker and the group was at POA about 1”at 10Yds with a few flyers 3” low and center. It was a different gun. Was it cleaning and lubing or the lighting?

The sight in dark areas is not as easy to pick up. If you are in a darkish area and looking at a brightly light area the sight cant be seen. Needs a laser.

XL. I love it the action is smother than the original 365, sight radius and hand fit great. If I get a Romeo 0 I may have to give up my P229

Oh 45man comes from the flathead 45 HD not the Colt

In my household I personally would be careful when out "shouting" with the wife and giving her a gun. But that's just my circumstances...Smile
