I prefer green. I replaced the red 507K on my P365XL with the green version.

I prefer green too. I have an astigmatism and the green seems to flare less and works better for me in the daylight than red.

My default is the green also.

It is easier to pickup on target than the red and does seem to flare less

Depends what you like. I prefer the red. My buddy likes his green one. Red is cheaper, other than that it's totally personal preference.

My eyes are OLD - 65 years old and for me my eyes pick up the green dot quicker. I was running a red dot 507K on my IDPA pistol (P320X5) and changed it out for the 507K in green with very positive results. That is why I went with the 407 in green (6moa) for my 365 XMacro. Took it out today on its second range trip and love this set up.

First picture does not do a great job of showing dot (could not get in focus so it looks larger than it actually is in photo). Also, IMO, the 507 was just way too BIG for the 365 slide size.

NOTE - My New in the Box 407k in green came with one set of screws and they did NOT fit the 365 XMacro screw size. I had to order a set of screws from a seller on EBay that cost me $8.00. The correct screw size you will need if you go with the 407k on any of the 365 models is - M3 x 0.5 x 10mm T10 torx.

Also - You will be hard pressed to beat one our very own SIGForum members pricing.

I prefer red because green pulls my eyes to a point where I'm dot focused instead of target focused. I have to turn down a green dot far enough that I might as well use a red dot. I can make either work, but I have more wiggle room with a red dot.

Only way to find out is to try both.

I have moderate astigmatism. I own red & green dot Holosuns. Despite all the recommendations, I find red works much better for me.

Green is easier on older eyes and people with astigmatism.

I work in a gun shop and have played around with various red and green dots.

For the majority of pistol sights the green is more of a defined dot than red. The red seems to give me more of a starburst, similar to oncoming headlights on a rainy night.

My first optic purchase was a 407K in green, it’s on my Victory .22. I’m now considering one for my P365 TacOps.

Another vote for green. It's easier to see in different lighting conditions. Also I like that it is something different than all the other red dots.

I know the decision has been made, but I also prefer green. Everyone’s vision is different and some people have a harder time with green than red, but I have astigmatism and a fairly strong nearsightedness prescription and green is excellent for me. Try both out at least, I think it’s worth it.

Red or green, like dot size, is personal preference. Eyes are funny things and work very differently person to person. You will people vehemently in either camp. The majority of people will probably do fine with red, which is generally a little cheaper. I use green on most of my stuff because my red color vision isn't as good and it tends to wash out for me. I end up with my red optics maxed out on brightness in normal daylight while my greens are three or four settings from the top and perfectly usable. There are some people I work with that run their reds turned down as low as my greens and I can barely see the dot.

I appreciate the referral. I want to be up front that I am stocking very little these days. The industry is very soft and stock is plentiful at the distributors I use. Two or three years ago I would routinely have $5-$10k in Holosun stuff on hand and would turn it over very quickly. It was also hard to get stuff because the distributors were moving a ton of product as well. These days, everything is easy to get and I prefer the liquidity of not having it sitting in my shop ("shop" as in the work area in my pole building, not as in "store").

I generally see product in 2-3 business days and ship the same day or day after receipt (depending on which shipper arrives first).
