I purchased 3 mags from Grab a Gun today. 25 round OEM for my Sig p322.At $18.99 each it seemed like a good deal. Has anybody tried these before? Any issues?
I shot Winchester Wildcat and Aguila today. Roughly 200 of each. I probably had 10 misfires. The gun definitely likes Federal,CCI and Remington better.

I've had problems with every P322 mag I have.

If you get the staggering just right on the ammo, and kiss it softly before inserting into the gun, you MIGHT not have any feeding issues.

I like the gun, but DAMN its a frustrating finnicky magazine.

I got to where I would load the 5 mags together and then look at the “stacks” side by side. If one stack looked off I would unload and it it over. If they were all good then I usually had zero issues.

Toward the end I started downloading the mags as an experiment. I can say the 322 is a very good gun with a finicky to load magazine in my experience. If I loaded it carefully (and apparently gave it Otto's kiss lol) it would be 100%.

That is a good deal.. spent $49 or whatever on at the sig store. The mags will work flawlessly if you take them apart after each use, clean and spry with silicon lube, then blow dry and assemble. Of course you still have to load them correctly (PITA!) but I have had 2 new, unlubed, proper loaded mags have issues loading the other older mags were perfect.. Like any girl, kiss her, but before you jam it in, lube it up! ;-)

yeah. I pretty much count on having at least one malfunction per magazine.

Well now, that is interesting….and not the kissing part. I always clean my guns after shooting them. I rarely clean the magazines though.i will try this and see if it makes a difference. Even if it does not, this gun is terrific at the range. I love it.

Do them one at a time, there are at least 2 different followers and spring lengths in the 20 round mags not sure about the 25 as I only have 2 of them

I don’t really have issues with the magazines. When loaded, I point the bullets to the floor and compress the spring down to loosen up the stack. When the follower returns to the ammunition, the ammo staggers like it’s supposed to. Rarely do I get a fail to feed.

I have the same issue with my magazines. Guess I will try giving them a good cleaning and a spray of silicone spray. Hope it helps.

Those guys in the SigSauer videos for the P322 must not be using cheaper stuff like Remington Golden Bullet or Federal AutoMatch. CCI Mini-Mags do help with function.

I’ve given up on my P322. It’s simply not reliable enough for my uses. I guess I should trade or sell it.

I absolutely love my P322. It’s accurate and fun to shoot at the range. It hates Aquila ammo. In truth all .22 rounds are dirty and have some issues. I accidentally purchased some of those larger capacity magazines as well. They have more issues than those that came with the gun. Typically,I fire 400 rounds through my P322 every time at the range.its cheap and fun to shoot. It definitely has multiple misfires every time at the range though. I just expect it. I have more misfires in one day than I have had with all my other pistols combined in their lifetime. It’s the nature of the round. I went to the range today and pre loaded my magazines. I was taking my HK VP 9, Stoeger STR 9 and Sig P322. I have 7 mags for each. My hands were clean after loading the Stoeger and HK mags. They were filthy after one Sig mag. It’s just a cheap and dirty round. Accept it for what it is and have fun with it. With that being said, I would never rely on it for self defense. It’s a range toy and the least expensive round to shoot by a wide margin.

I just found one with 300 rounds thru it here locally for $275 with 3 mags holster now you have me wondering if I want to get it with the mag issues.

All the issues can be avoided if the time is taken to load them correctly and clean/lubricate the mags Got almost 1000 rounds down mine and runs perfectly every time out.

Aside from cracking pot metal slides, the tales of woe here remind me of a certain .22 pistol named after a blood-sucking insect that wasn't made by them but was sadly sold by SIG a while back. In hindsight, it seems satisfyingly appropriate to have named that earlier vile pistol after a disease-laden pest.
