Does anyone's p320 compact have the recoil spring assembly/guide rod protrude past the front of the slide when in battery. It's enough I can get a finger nail behind the end of the guide rod between it and the slide. I haven't seen any impact on function, but I haven't shot it in a while either. Honestly, it just looks goofy and I'm curious about the cause. Compact slide, x-carry frame I cut for compact mags, apex flat trigger and no drop mod. The other p320 thread is what got me thinking about it honestly or it would probably have just continued languishing in the safe.

Just checked the OG P320C on my hip. Same as yours, can grab the end of the GR with a fingernail.

Never noticed any issue with it.

Ok. I guess good to know. If they ever come back in stock, I may swap it out for a captured stainless unit.
