Trying to order a 220 Legion. See that Proven Outfitters has a note that all Legions ordered through their LE program are black?

Just the regular Sig nitrade finish I'm guessing. Probably hold up better than the Legion gray.

Anyone hear of this?

Yeah just regular Nitron. Really I wish they'd have done that for all of them and skipped the gray PVD and Cerakote entirely. The pistols stand on their own without some odd color finish that damages easily. A two-tone annodized gray lower and nitron upper would have been OK too.

I was just talking to a friend about this with the 320 X5 Legion the other day. I'd just as soon have had it in black.

You might glance at the LE catalog available at below link. I’m not eligible but would strongly prefer Legions in the basic black Nitron. I really don’t follow why they’ve stubbornly stuck with the gray for consumer market.

I've been interested for months now in acquiring one, although I'm not a LEO, once I discovered about the Black Legions via this forum. Just another stupid marketing decision by SigSauer.

To think at one point I was going to have my Legions cerakoted black.
