I love Florida Gun Exchange. Probably the best gun shop I have ever lived near. They have taken a lot of money off me since I moved down here.

Congrats on the Czechmate. I’ve had one a while. Had several opportunities to buy a Parrot, but prefer all black. The one upgrade the Parrot has is a metal trigger. Why the Czechmate comes with a plastic trigger is beyond me.

Mine is metal. Even my Shadow2 is metal. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

No sir. It’s plastic. I can see it just from its thickness front to back. The metal trigger is thinner. The profile and shape are the same, but the plastic trigger is thicker front to back to increase its strength. May want to check that again. The metal trigger also has small vertical grooves up and down. The TSO comes with a metal trigger. The Czechmate does not. I have multiple Shadow 2 models. Yes, they all have metal triggers. The standard TS2 trigger is plastic also. The upgraded TS2, like the Green and Orange have metal triggers. It’s not a big deal and an easy swap, but the Czechmate should come with it. The Parrot does, mainly so they could anodize it red.

It’s not the sort of optic you’re likely used to. It’s a frame mounted optic for Open competition. Completely different from the slide mounted reciprocating optics. Apples and oranges Check out some Open guns and you’ll understand

Doesn’t matter that it works, he is correct, it is fugly. Mine works great too, yet it is not aesthetically pleasing in any way. Lol

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
Never had a problem with a C-more. There were two of 'em in a box of 2011 race gun parts that I got for $800. Are there better looking options out there? Sure! It does what it is supposed to do, stays where it is supposed to be, and allows you to add a shield if you are using a brake or ported barrel. The added plus is if you are trying to reduce the reciprocating weight. The pistol I was able to build from the parts box is in .38 Super and works fine with a 6 1/2 pound progressive recoil spring. For the Shadow being shown, a C-more is a wise choice.

The C-More comes with the Czechmate. It’s an Open gun.

Wasn't sure, but the lack of a front sight shows the intent and purpose of this one from the word Go. Looks good!

The Czechmate also has a rear and front sight and a gas pedal in Limited configuration. It comes with everything so the shooter and switch it out. Just a really cool package. As I said earlier, my one gripe is the plastic trigger.

I ordered a metal trigger! Since they didn't have it in black or silver, I have to order grips, magwell, racker, and sight mount is the same colors as the parrot! I got a 10 pack of batteries for $12. I don't see what the issue is. My NV eats batteries every few hours. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! There isn’t an issue if it doesn’t bother you. Compared to modern RDS though the design and parameters are archaic on many levels. Cutting edge at one point, not so much now. For competition though it still works well. Make sure you keep those batteries and an Allen key handy though. Lol. They don’t give a warning when the batteries get low. They dim or just stop. Like I said before, lots of guys turn the sight off in between stages to get longevity. NV eats batteries, red dots shouldn’t. Absolutely awesome gun.

This place just keeps beating my wallet up. I'm glad these are basically unobtainium around here or I'd be in the hole again. Very nice pistol Mars. Hope it shoots as good as it looks, but I would probably leave it black if it were mine. Maybe some green or blue G10 grips with a palm swell, but otherwise black. A Perpetual Disappointment...

Very cool I never did, but it always bothered me that CZ doesn’t include it on the $3000+ Czechmate. I do prefer the feel of the metal trigger. Thats one reason I went with a TS2 Orange over the standard TS2.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned about the C-More RDS is how COARSE it's adjustments are--If you are used to "Zeroing" a Sight with 1/4 minute "Clicks", or even 1-minute clicks, the C-More will surprise the heck out of you with how FAR a little bit of Adjustment will move POI--It can get frustrating if you let it, LOL!

Buy that Classic SIG in All Stainless, No rail wear will be painless. |
Mars, Here is another caution on that C-More sight. That little flat head allen lock screw for the windage adjustment. If you over tighten that lock screw, it will crack the plastic body of the sight, and the windage adjustment will wander. I made that error, and C-More will replace the plastic sight body as a repair. $$$ If it ever cracks again, I will go with the aluminum body model. Also, replacing the battery will generally cause an impact point shift. Always recheck zero after a battery replacement. BTW, that CZ is a VERY nice looking pistol!
