V-TailSights for P229?
My old eyes need a front sight that is easy to see. Gold bead? Or fiber optic? Or ???
Looking for 8 / 8, very visible front sight, plain black rear sight.
What do y'all recommend? Type, brand, maybe a pointer to a manufacturer or vendor website?
If somebody here has something suitable for sale, let's NOT circumvent forum policy; put an ad in the Classifieds. A heads-up to my email address to alert me wouldn't hurt.

monoblok
Ameriglo high vis tritium front
Ameriglo blacked out serrated rearThis kind of configuration has become
my preferred setup nowadays, having no contrasting element(s) on the back of the rear sight to distract my eyes. Though admittedly I still like the Heinie-style 'straight-8' configuration with a single, less prominent centered tritium tube with the rear sight as well. Ameriglo (well, it's Trijicon actually, only incognito) makes those as well.
According to my Trijicon rep, Ameriglo is merely Trijicon's budget-friendly brand. I've yet to have any problems with Ameriglo-branded product, and I've used them over the years A LOT with great results.

SIGfourmeCheck the Sig website. Last week they were running a closeout on their "Sig sights" == fiber not tritium at $29 for front and rear. Fits all P series.

V-TailSIGfourme -- thanks for the information, but no joy. I checked; they only have 6 / 8 sets, I need 8 / 8 for .357 SIG.
monoblock -- thanks for the lead. I poked around the website and found a similar set that I like, the SG-614. Front sight is like the one that you pictured, but green instead of orange. Rear is like the one that you pictured, but has a tiny horizontal tritium bar across the bottom of the notch.
If memory serves, you either own or work in a gun shop, is that correct? If so, do you make anything if I place the order through you? Feel free to use the email address in my profile to reply.

YooperSigsNot a recommendation, but just for your consideration:
XS Sights Big Dot.
I just installed a set on an S&W EZ 9mm. I will try them out soon.
I will also be spending more time with an optic to try to increase my proficiency with it.

RileyI like these for most of my pistols. It’s a narrow front sight in the set but they offer individual front and rears.
