Traditionally I shoot more SD-/combat-style pistol shooting. I often use silhouettes or a target like this: Those ^^^^^ are great because that little "x" is just visible at ±7 yards--which more encourages you to get it in the 4" circle than shoot for bullseyes. The grey is just dark enough to contrast with the surroundings, but not so dark it obscures the sights. But beyond seven yards in an indoor range they don't work all that well. They get real tiny, the little "x" disappears entirely, and the grey circle gets somewhat indefinite. Especially if your eyes aren't that great any more. So... now I have this target pistol and I'm wondering what y'all, those of you that practice slow-fire, like to use at 25 feet, 50 feet or 15 yards, and 25 yards? I don't mind buying targets. I've got a bunch of the targets above run off from when I could still do so at a couple pennies/page, but, now that I'm retired I don't have that opportunity, any more. At what copying centers charge I'd as soon buy real targets on proper paper. Speaking of which: These targets: Official NRA Handgun Targets Pistol & Revolver Shooting Targets at pistoleer.com seem to be comparatively economical. Anybody ever dealt with them? I don't know about that brand, but think an assortment of NRA bullseyes for the ranges you wish to shoot at would be a good idea.

I use the NRA A-32 target. https://www.midwayusa.com/prod...le-paper-pack-of-100 It’s a 50’ light rifle target, but I use it for .22LR pistols at 25’. Serious about crackers

The NRA B2 and B3 are what my indoor range supplied for free. The Members saved the rimfire shot targets and the Club requested we practice centerfire on those to reduce waste.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll order-up some 25', 50' and 25 yd. NRA targets. For the longer ranges, 50' and 25 yd., indoors, where the light isn't as bright, go with a different colour? They've got a kind of a "medium" blue that might be the ideal compromise. They've a "medium" shade red for 25 yd. "America is at that awkward stage. While it may be counterintuitive I find at distance any color besides black actually gets harder to discern. The plain old black 50 foot slow, timed and rapid, 25 yard slow, times and rapid and 50 yard slow fire targets work just fine.

Yeah, that is counter-intuitive. So not even the red dot in the middle of the black bull? "America is at that awkward stage. I use B-8 and B-3. But I mostly shoot steel. --------------------------- My hovercraft is full of eels.

I have not yet begun to procrastinate |
The B-8 is what I use for a bullseye target 15 to 25 yds. The plain tombstone is the GSSF target. (plenty of real estate to stick target dots of various sizes on for double-duty) -------- After the game, the King and the pawn go into the same box.

I use the 10-8 bullseye target that I print off for free at 10-8 Performance.

Go here: https://drive.google.com/drive...rtSkobWJjTnVaOUNzOW8 There are full sized printable B-2, B-8 and B-16s in there. In addition to a bunch of other printable scaled action targets of various sizes (for dry fire, etc.) Enjoy.

What kind? In what I think of as a target pistol, the sight picture is at the bottom of the black circle, and the finely adjustable sights are set so the bullets impact in the red. So, actually, your POI is different than POA. At 25 or 50 yards, the sights would cover up the circle altogether if you used a "combat" sight picture.

I like the shoot n see targets that change to a chartreuse color when you hit them. Much easier to see hits out at long distances for me.

P210A Target. And now a Remington R1 Enhanced - which is kinda target-y. "America is at that awkward stage.
