I went to my LGS on Saturday looking to buy a red dot for my newly acquired Glock 48 MOS. I was thinking I would end up with a Holosun or a Vortex, but ended up with a Hawke Endurance 12-151. Cost was $229. I have experience with the SIG Romeo Zero Elite and own an ACRO P2.
I really liked some of the features of the Hawke, including a metal housing, a green dot, multiple reticles, shake awake, and a good warranty. It's fairly low profile and had the RMSC footprint, so it would mount directly to the pistol without a plate. It included a picatinny attachment, of you wanted to mount it on a rifle or shotgun.
The only negative I have seems to be a common problem with the G48 MOS and other red dot manufacturers as well. The included screws (7 sets) only included screws that were either too long or too short. The long screws bottom out on the extractor bar and the short ones only give a couple of threads to hold the sight on place. I used the short screws to get by until the longer ones are delivered.
I took the gun to the range and found the green dot easy to pick up. I definitely prefer the dot to the circle-dot reticle.
The dot remained torqued and zeroed for the 150ish rounds I fired through the gun on that range trip.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the Hawke and feel confident in carrying it.
Not much is out there on the Hawke stuff, especially the newer red dots. Does anyone else have Hawke products, and what was your experience?

My only experience with Hawke products, assuming we are talking about the same entity, is with scopes for air rifles. With that said I have found they make good stuff especially at their various price points. Their scopes have held up on several spring guns for me and spring guns (believe it or not. Think open bolt SMG bolt dropping) recoil/vibrate like a Sonofabitch in all directions so they are VERY hard on scopes not specifically made for them and my Hawke stuff has held up exceptionally well. So hopefully that will carry over to your dot.
