I own a P320 RX and I bought a second-hand "regular" slide but unfotunately it does NOT work...

I noticed two main differences: there is a small notch on the inside of the RX slide, and a much longer and deep notch on the inside of the regular slide.

I was told that the regular slide is an OLDER one, and it does NOT have the recall modification performed by SIG (smaller notch?).

I am considering asking a gunsmith to modify the slide, but I am not certain that it is feasible, unfortunately....

What would you recommend me please ?

Contact SIG customer service. They'll send a label for you to send the non-upgraded regular slide to SIG to have the upgrade work done. It's free.

The slide will work with your P320 afterwards, once the upgrade is done.

I compliment you on your specificity. Often people post incomplete descriptions of their problems, but you were very clear. That's important, since I am so often confused.
