2AdefenderWhat you’re looking for hasn’t been made for decades. I’ve obtained some hard-to-find SIG parts from these folks in Germany. They ship internationally.
https://www.bh-waffenhandel.de/ You might also scan eBay. Maybe Grayguns would be willing to make you one. Good luck.

Yes, thanks my wife is German so I may get her to translate. I've sent a message to Bruce, maybe he'll get back to me after the holidays. I've checked ebay as well. Thanks for the info.

ShackI’m off of hunter rd. You don’t happen to be a member of the range close to me?
I learned this from purchasing a pistol off marketplace, my account is too new to view your profile page and email address.

Xer0The P226/P6 Short trigger will be hard to find anymore. However, the P225/P6 trigger shape, trigger pivot hole, and trigger bar hole size/alignment, are the exact same as on a P220 short trigger except for having a longer tip of the bow. One thing you have to note though is that the original P220 had a 8mm wide trigger while the new models have a 10mm wide trigger. The frame's trigger hole on a P225/P6 is a 8mm hole. So the easy way is to find an older 8mm P220 short trigger on Ebay or somewhere and just hand file the trigger bow tip down so it will clear the smaller trigger guard of the P225/P6 and then it will drop right in with just that modification. Super easy modification with nothing more than a file and some touch up cold blue.
Barring that you can't find an older P220 8mm trigger, you can still use a newer style 10mm trigger as a base simply by cutting the bow tip shorter but also thinning the sides down 1mm on each side. I wouldn't recommend trying to thin it down with a file since the sides have to be parallel and CLEAN, which is a lot harder to do with just a hand file. The easy way to do the thinning is simply to lay it lightly on a belt sander. Yes, I have done trigger mods this way (like a short trigger for my P245 8mm frame from a newer style P220 10mm wide trigger). That being said, if you suck at doing this kind of work, any machinist or gunsmith should be able to do it.

SigSentry^ very good explanation. I did this a few years back. Besides taking off the length, I needed to relieve the back and sides so it would eventually fire and reset. The seer trip happens only when the trigger is fully to the rear, not the best but it is definitely a shorter reach.

blueyeWhile visiting Michigan 5 yrs ago decided to go to a local gun show. Ran into a dealer who specialized in German firearms and parts. Asked about the P225 short trigger and he produced 2 in the factory packaging. Wanted 200.00 dollars for each. Made a deal on both at 150.00 each. Wife thought I was nuts but I have been on the search for almost 10 years and I am a stickler for factory parts. Buy once, cry once for the right stuff.
