It finally came. It's mounted and I hope to shoot it tomorrow. Given that I haven't shot it yet, I have to say I see nothing about it that I don't like. The XL, itself, has a few hundred rounds through it, so I am excited to see how it performs with the RZ.

Of course, None of my holsters will fit the XL with the RZ, not the Vedder, and not the Tulster.

Oh well, not gonna let that bring me down today, so I ordered a new Vedder with the RMR cut. Be here in a couple of days.

Meantime, carrying a Glock!

Well, I got a chance to shoot it today.

Perfect! The LGS put it on and it was dialed in perfectly at 15 yards. I did some shooting at 15 yards, most at 7.

I found it shot a very tight group and was pretty fast to shoot when quickly raising it to the target. This range does not allow fast shooting, so I would shoot, put the dot back on target and mentally say "Bang!" Can't shoot drawing from a holster, either, so I'd hold the gun down, look at the target, then think "Go"-raise, shoot, bring the dot back and think "Bang!" Glad there wasn't anybody watching me.

I loved the sight. I had wanted the 6, but the shop got the only one available, a 3 and it worked great. In the semi-darkness of the range, the dot was not perfectly round to my really old and several times surgically abused eyes, appearing slightly elongated. But it worked and I could hit, so I'm very happy with it.

Hey, the center of a fuzzy red dot is precisely the same as the center of a sharp, clear red dot.

I agree about the center, but this looked less like a dot and more the shape of a cloud.

AIm for the center of the cloud!

Pictures or it didn't happen!

I've been waiting to see an XL with the Zero on it from Sig at the LGS, that would probably spur me to buy one... Think I'll wait until the current unpleasantness is behind us though...
