I have just installed the AC Flat Trigger on my 226 Scorpion. Install was straight forward and coming from someone who is new to this hobby, I didn't find it as difficult as I have read and watched videos online. There is not much info on this trigger as it is not as popular as the already established and proven Grayguns trigger. I just wanted to share my overall experience to include installation tips. Taking my time, total install time was about 45 minutes but for someone who is better inclined, this can probably be completed in 30 minutes. You will need a needle file to file down the Delrin pin for the DA pretravel adjustment. I was able to pick one up from Lowe's for a whopping $3.99. It made the process much easier, glad that I didn't have to use my full size file set. Here are pictures of the trigger showing the Delrin pin from the factory.. Seating the trigger assembly on the frame took the most time but upon cocking and uncocking the hammer at different times while manipulating the angles to get it in. After a couple of times, you will get used to it. I found it easier by partially inserting the trigger assembly without the AC trigger intially, till it almost gets to the proper position, and then installing the trigger itself before sliding the assembly in at an angle. Also, you won't be able to install the locking block without removing material from the delrin pin. I filed a substantial amount without fear of overdoing it because I've read that I will end up filing down most of the delrin anyways. I filed a few times until the Locking Block can fall in place. Quick tip is when attempting to install the block, don't insert the spring till you are ready to assemble everything since you are just checking the the block would fall in place. This will make the process easier. Once the locking block is in, I assembled everything back to include the slide. Dry fired a few times in SA and expect DA not to function at this moment as you will have to file down the delrin in order to reset for DA. This is how I taped the frame while filing. I only used three strips total for the whole trial and error process, and reused the same tape accordingly. This is the how much delrin material is left after the whole filing procedure. DA now functions flawlessly. Overtravel is far easier to adjust. Just screw the adjustment screw with Allen wrench provided till the trigger does not engage. Back it out 1/4 of a turn each time until the trigger engages in SA mode. I was lazy and left the trigger on even when applying blue thread locker. While playing around with the final setting and position of the adjustment screw, I applied the thread locker by backing out a bit more. This mod is totally worth it for me. Fitment is superb and there is no movement at all when the trigger is resting unlike the OEM trigger. The feel of the flat face itself makes a huge difference. At first, I thought that I would not like the ribbing on the face itself but it actual aids in keeping the pad of your finger in place. You will barely feel the lines though. The pretravel play is total gone! No more wasted motion when firing in DA. SA mode is sweet as well with the flat face and when the adjusted overtravel is dialed in. Trigger literally stops on a wall when the hammer drops. Again, I feel like this purchase is well worth the price paid with the looks of the trigger just a bonus. Stock trigger and Grayguns both look boring to me, IMO. Here is a quick video of the trigger in action. https://youtu.be/VVf0SjqyrMY ..and some pictures of the finished product Hope this helps for those who are hesitant to try this trigger out since there is not much info out there yet. Nice job with the installation instructions and pictures, and the review of the AC trigger results! Just a point of order. The owner/mods frown on duplicate threads on the same topic. You would have been better served to combine this post in your other thread, either as an additional post to that thread or by editing the original post and thread title. Considering the work you put in on this post it would be a shame to see it get locked. As long as no member quotes the O.P. you can still delete this post and combine it with your earlier one. Nicely done play-by-play. Like the trigger too. Visited their website; their 'slightly curved' trigger looks kind of appealing to me. Also neat was the idea of turning one of my CZs into a (kind of) poor man's version of the Parrot!

Nice write up. I have 3 of the A.C. Sig triggers and prefer the slightly curved. For me the slightly curved trigger has a "better/natural" feel, ymmv.

Just FYI, ......Armory Craft had the first flat adjustable trigger on the market. Gray Guns came months after them. And as was mentioned above, in addition to the flat trigger, Armory Craft also offers another version that has the same features as the flat one but it is slightly curved.
