Bringing this back up with a question

The back strap has a first name, middle initial and last name of a person engraved

How would I go about removing?

Do you think a jeweler could fill them in with silver????

In my neck of the woods guns like that are called BBQ Guns. Guns that you show off at a BBQ with friends.

I had him do this one...

Great quality. Good to deal with. Fair pricing.

Adios,

Might be easier to change your name.

Looking at the catalog reminds me of my opinion that they were making reproductions of guns Colt didn't build in the first place. First quality but some of them are kind of weird.

The automatics were worse, I recall a magazine article about a .38 Super of 19ll configuration.

I stopped at my local jeweler, filling with silver is not happening. He said he could do it with some machine he has but only if it's stainless steel. I doubt it is, need to figure that one out

Anyone have any ideas? No I am not changing my name, kinda partial to it Razz

Congrats on your “Pimp-tastic” new roscoes!

My only USFA is a Doug Turnbull Cowboy Classic gun.

I recently watched the Forgotten Weapons episode on the ghastly horrible USFA Zip 22 and how it destroyed the company. Very sad, considering what they gave up in order to make that POS "pistol". We had a couple of those horrid Zips come through our shop a decade or so ago and to call them absolute garbage is a gross understatement. To think that they were willing to sell off all of their existing SAA tooling just so they could afford to make a cheap, unreliable polymer .22.
