After purchasing the CZ ShadowII, I want the Czechmate. It's just too much to spend for a toy.

However, I do have a really good 1911.
My brother had one of these on a race gun he had and it really made a difference, so he found me one and I bought it.

It's just really cool looking if nothing else. Besides, The Punisher has them on his 1911's.

Loking good! Comps can be very effective. Big Grin

Here's a shot of my customized Colt MkIV with a 400 Cor-Bon barrel fitted w/comp and a non-comped BarSto 45ACP barrel sitting aside.

The Internet Experts would have told you that a compensator is not effective on the "low pressure .45".
I am sure you know better now, as do I.

Congrats, Mars. I love it.

Here is some 1980s Wilson Combat Accu-Comp LE action. Smile
I have more than 80,000 rounds through this one. Still one of my favorite pistols.

Does the beaver tail and skeleton hammer help?

If your traditional /classic style 1911 pistol is prone to pinch the web of your shooting hand, a beavertail and / or a commander style hammer is the solution.

Very cool, did it come with the barrel or did you have to get a threaded one?

It comes all as one piece.

I like the Pinmaster!

OK we put a few rounds through it and the 185 and 200gr RN were very tame now.

The hot 230s, well it still kicked like a mule.
We'll be loading 200s for it.
