Love it. Best 40 or 357sig pistol ever made for either caliber. But it is heavy and carries like a 2x4 at 1.5” wide, definitely a pant sagger. OWB recommended, could never carry it iwb comfortably. Best of luck.

I have an older .40 police trade in that is badly beaten up. I carried it a while. Now, I am carrying a new 9mm P229. I carry it appendix and have zero issues with weight or anything else.

Have to say I am quite fond of it.

1. What bullet weight and type are most agencies using? I favor critical defense but practiced with others without feed problems in 9mm.

2. I like IWB in leather with comfort but this is a lot heavier pistol. Some have commented on holsters and would welcome more comments on this pistol.
