I have a Gen 1 MPX with the 8 inch barrel. I'm looking to convert it to carbine length but trying to figure out how. I'm reading that the Gen 2 barrels aren't compatible with Gen 1 uppers? Crazy how Sig messed this launch up. I see ILWT has 14.5 and 16 inch barrels for Gen 2 and 3 so assume they are not compatible with Gen 1 uppers? Any other options?

Sig's promises on the Gen 1 MPX fell flat.

Call ILWT directly and see if they have any sitting around. They might have a few sitting around for a gen 1 or could point you in the right direction.
