They had a special over the holidays for $150 for doing the optics cut. I shipped them my G19 slide and had the work done. I had a 507k that I mounted on the pistol. The whole thing was painless and took about 3.5 weeks including shipping time both ways. I’m very pleased with the way the project turned out. I have had it out to the range 3 times in the past two weeks and I love the upgrade to the Glock. I will probably send them my G20 slide the next time they have a special.

Without trying to ruffle any feathers, I think the RMR on the Glock completely takes away any grip angle issues for me. Since I still shoot a lot of Sigs and HKs the Glock grip angle with iron sights affects my presentation on the first few shots until I get used to the Glock again. That is now gone.

OK. it's great you're pleased with the service. However, a 507k isn't an RMR. RMR isn't a generic term for a pistol optic. RMR refers specifically to the Trijicon Ruggedized Micro Reflex optic. The RMR footprint for slide cuts is but one footprint of many options. The 507k optic you referred to does not use an RMR footprint. It uses the RMSc footprint. On the other hand, if the option you mounted is instead the Holosun 507c, then that optic does use the RMR footprint. Wink

I had one of my Glock 43s done a couple of months before the OP had his done. Great job, Great price and I had it back in 10 days.

I have had a couple of other guns done by other vendors, none as reasonably priced and certainly none as quick as GS.

I'm still using irons for SD, but for playing at the range, the dots are fine.
