ArgeeNew P365XL
Well.. I went and did it! Purchased my first ever semi-auto today. Picked up a NIB P365XL today. Wanted the one with safety but they were no where to be had... at least not in this neck of the woods. So I'll be ordering the manual safety retrofit later this week. I'm guessing I can Dremel out the notches to make it all work.
I've been sitting in my chair for the last hour working the slide and practicing my trigger discipline and presenting it at the hall doorknob 25' away while dry-firing. I think years of shooting DAO revolvers are now paying me dividends with my trigger press. I will know for sure in a couple of days when I take it out a couple hundred rounds thru it on targets.
Just super excited to have my first, and second semi-auto (got a Kimber Micro .380 too) it's for my wife to shoot. I really like that too.

4.40s1nineGreat choice to start your collection with. Be careful though, they have a tendency to multiply. Before too long you have a 320 Compact for your wife and then a full size 320 for yourself. Then you'll need to explore the classic series of Sigs, and so it goes. With your DAO experience, you definitely shouldn't have any issues with the trigger. Have fun.

DSgrouseI picked one up the other day. I put 200 rounds through mine yesterday and it was a fantastic pistol.
now to find a threaded barrel.

FredwardYou also have to keep your ammo separated. If two bullets get together, they may have a BB.
