Always been a fan of the .45 ACP and have been interested in a new one for a bit. Ordered the full size M&P 2.0 with thumb safety (model 11526). Never had an M&P...any lube tips, recommendations, etc?

Was looking at the AlienGear IWB, what I’m really looking for is something similar to the BladeTech Nano, but no luck so far...any recommendations? Or do we have any forum members that do kydex?

Any other advice on the M&P 2.0 would be appreciated as well!

Thanks!

I lucked into some PD trade M&P 45s awhile back for like $259 apiece. I really like mine a lot. As for holsters google stayholstered. He sells on eBay and will make you a good IWB kydex in any color you like for about $30.

I have 2 full size models of the 45 2.0. Probably a couple thousand rounds through them combined with no issues. The mag springs seem weak to me but no issues so far with functionality. I like the stock trigger more than the 1.0 I had with the apex kit. Both have had no issues with any hollow point ammo I have fed it.

I have always used grease. Seems to like it just fine.

Likely won’t matter, just use some kind of lubrication. I tend to stay with oil for my M&P shield, 2.0 9mm, and 1.0 45ACP. It has worked well for mine.

I use grease but I wouldn’t think oil would be a problem

Can't wait to hear what you think after you get a chance to shoot it.
I'm looking really hard at the 4" bbl version.

Have a M&P 45 with threaded barrel. Shoots very well and have used my SRD 45 suppressor with it.

I have an M&P45 1.0 that I used to shoot IDPA CDP with. Best shooting service pistol I ever shot!

Only mods I did are night sights and an Apex DCAEK kit that greatly improved the trigger.
