What's a magazine article?

Is that like when my grandpa prints off the webpages he likes?

I have subscribed to 4 gun magazines (paper periodical things) since 1971-72. I like paper and we didn't have on-line in those dark days.

I am a long time subscriber to Guns & Ammo also!
Nothing better than sitting down and reading it cover to cover, after retrieving it from the mailbox. One of life's simple pleasures for an old curmudgeon. Smile

I'm still a fan of print media. Sad to see American Handgunner & Guns go away.

I did read the P6 article yesterday when I got the magazine. Wish I still had the P6 I bought in 2005 now that I have the Sig-ness again. I may run into another one day in my Gun or Pawn shop travels.

P6 and magazine in the same sentence makes me roll my eyes. I can’t believe nobody will make a decent magazine for the gun. Are they over $75 per yet?
Some day I’ll actually get around to getting rid of the annoyances on mine. It’s just single stack 9mm but for some reason I just can’t part with it.

Hey you always have pro-mag's (ha) if you won't pay the price for actual P6/P225 magazines.

(I wonder if pro-mags with wolff replacement springs for P6/P225 magazines would work?)

Review of E-bay shows lowest prices 75+tax and as high as $165! for one P6 magazine, a number in the 100 dollar range.......

Gunbroker one magazine is bidding for $25 + $15 shipping currently but some above $200! 300 even per mag, that is wild.

Since no production, the price will keep climbing.

I ran into this issue when I picked-up a P232 not long ago. I didn't realize factory mags had turned into unobtanium.

I own 1 P6 and I've lost count of my collection of P225s. They are not just my favorite Sigs, they are my favorite guns. In addition to new mags, I wish someone would manufacture some G10 grips for them.

I read it with great interest.

I too am amazed that no one has picked up the ball and run with it.

I imagine someone could make a lot of money, producing a functional P6/P225 magazine.

I was checking Ebay a few months back and a seller had P-6/P-225 mags for $60-65. Must of run into a stash. Fortunately, I picked up a number of mags under $50 years ago. Thousands out there but owners holding on to them.

Hogue has quite a few G10 options for the original P225/P6.

There is a reason I am a bit of a “mag whore”. Besides the constant legal onslaught the very first part to literally disappear overnight when a gun is discontinue are the mags. I don’t have all the mags I want for everything and some, like the P7M13 I only have 2, but most I have no need to worry. Mags are a primary purchase for me with or soon after the purchase of the gun, hell sometimes before the gun.

When I sold my P225/P6 (for the second time and now I want it back……..but I digress) I had 10 mags to go with it. Those mags both brought a good return as well as gave me peace of mind while I owned.

…….I really “NEED” another P225/P6……sigh. Frown

Check out Greg Cote's (usaoz in classifieds) website, tons of good P6/P225 Hogue grip options (G10)

I have sold/traded quite a few P6/P225s over the years, and a P225 was my very first SIG. I went several years without one until I finally found a nice one locally about 2 years ago at my LGS and I jumped on it, determined that it would be the LAST gun that I'd ever part with! Like others, I wish I had more magazines than I currently have for it, but based on their current prices, the 4 that I have will just have to do for the foreseeable future!
