Like probably a lot of pistoleros, I've been hoping and praying for CZ to chamber their Model 97 for 10MM. I ran across a YouTube video which is about an experimental CZ97 in 10MM. To find it, simply visit YouTube and type in "Experimental CZ 10MM" and view this interesting 1 minute 30 second clip. Now I generally don't read the comments section, but it's interesting how many positive comments have been left for this idea. Lastly, with the 10MM revival lately, there is no better time for CZ to finally offer the Model 97 for this great round. I'm emailing them tomorrow and suggesting it along with the YouTube link.

What would be the draw to this pistol over a Tanfoglio?

Besides, aside from the caliber it's the Tanfoglio that is the clone between these two brands.

97's are hard to find.Got a used mint condition one that just got into the shop for consignment for 550. Now just had the bushing update done at Cajun Gunworks and just got it back yesterday. The 97 has enough beef to go the 10mm route. Maybe in the future.

I like the idea, but it would be nice to see a bit more barrel on the 97.

I’d like to see a model similar to the TSO but in 10mm. I have the TSO 40 and I think 10mm would be good fit for the size of the gun.

I recently stumbled across a NIB 97 in a gun store in Cleveland. I snapped it up immediately.

As for why not a Tangfo...I don’t know, they’re nice guns, I just like the OG aka CZ. I’ve been so close to buying a Tangfo 10mm several times and just never pulled the trigger.
