You have me beat by 5 years! I've been carrying a P229 in 40 since around 2005. I several, including a few P229 40 Sports (all stainless). The P226 & P239 are nice in 40 as well. Why would anyone shoot 9 when you can shoot 40? Grin! |

| It was my 229-40 that got me started on this site. I picked up a used one for a very reasonable price when Gander Mountain was closing and I wanted info on converting it to 9mm. Now it shoots both with a quick slide and locking block change out: |
