I acquired a 2016 mfg date P320 RX Full Size. Based on plugging the serial number into Sig's tool, it does not appear to have been through the voluntary trigger upgrade process. I will visually confirm when I pick it up from my FFL this week. My question is, can I drop Sig flat (x-series) trigger in prior to the upgrade? 2nd question, would Sig drop an x-series trigger in at the time of the upgrade if requested? ______________________________ “I'd like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy and complaining people who think the world owes them a living.” ― John Wayne

It is my understanding that Sig replaces the trigger during the upgrade with a more current style. I would hold off with the flat trigger until you do the upgrade. Calling Sig will confirm your options. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

Sig will put in a flat trigger when sent in for the upgrade. Whether they actually do what they say or get it right, is another matter. I've been averaging a little less than 50% success on them doing what they say they'll do when a firearm is sent in, or an order is placed.

1) Do the upgrade as Part #1 Numero Uno....do the upgrade. 2) You will probably get the "Adverse" (SIG nomenclature) curved shoe trigger. It is a lightened, curved trigger which is typically part of the upgrade. My P320F post-upgrade had this trigger on it. 3) There are better triggers than the flat shoe SIG trigger. I would not get excited about this trigger. And you may like the Adverse trigger. 4) And in regards to trigger upgrades, it depends on what you want the pistol for. Self defense ? Target shooting ? ETA: Post back if you want to do a trigger upgrade. There are several ways to go.This message has been edited. Last edited by: DirectDrive,
