With the rise in ownership of silencers over the past two decades, many of us have quite a few spare pistol barrels. Do you have an efficient method of storing your spares?
While I don’t have enough to have any issues (not a suppressor guy) I have found the little plastic storage containers you find at places like Michael’s Or other craft stores work great for small parts and can be configured with little plastic spacers for different sized items. Fairly inexpensive solution for stuff like barrels, gun parts etc.

I wrap them up in a bit of bubble wrap then put them in a small ziploc baggie or padded envelope. That's usually how I received them in the first place.

The door on my safe has magazine pouches all over it.
They work great for two extra barrels or a complete slide.

I use the clear plastic Plano storage boxes to store extra barrels and mags. They have the adustable dividers to accommodate whatever length mag or barrel you have.

Heck, yes. Plano 3700 for the win, generally about five bucks at Wally World.
God bless America.

Plastic Plano fishing tackle boxes for me as well, the shallower ones that will fit in a tool chest drawer. Knowing me, if I don't put the boxes in the chest with the rest of my extras (mags, parts, etc.), I'm destined to misplace them.

McMaster Carr has these square adjustable length plastic tubes of various sizes. Actually for protecting end mills. Pretty inexpensive around a dollar or 2. The plastic is pretty stout.
That's what I use they come in a variety of sizes. You need the big ones for a pistol barrel. If its long term I toss a bit of VCI in there. Works absolutely mint.

That's fine, too.
For longer term storage, I clean and lube them and vacuum seal them in plastic food bags. I wrap any sharp corners in plastic or other soft material to prevent punctures. Works fine for complete pistols, too.

One of mine is in that "McMaster Carr" type tube (no clue where I got it). The rest of mine are actually just in their factory packaging. It's not the most space-efficient, but it works. Also, I don't have many.

These look great. Does anyone know if there is a minimum order for these?
