Like new “Transition” Walther .32 PPK
Just won this on Gun Broker without having to max out my home equity loan. It was described as like new and it truly is.

Have not been to the range yet but am looking forward to that.

I did check to see if the grips were interchangeable with my Fort Smith .32 PPK and they are. Also, it has the .32 style ejector and .32 size breech face machining in the slide. It ejects manually an A-Zoom .32 with authority something my Fort Smith PPK does not do.

I borrowed these photos from the sellers Gun Broker ad. The seller was AK-ARMS on Gun Broker. They were great to deal with. I won the auction on Sunday night (8-25-24) and picked up this gun at my dealer today (8-28-24).

“Like a brick through a plate glass window.”

My first .32 PPK was a war time gun I bought in 1965 for $50. I am up to 17 Walthers now (TPH to P-38). I probably need to apply for “His Majesties” Secret Service.

Probably beats watching NetFlix with my PPK by my side.

There was a good reason why James Bond didn't use British pistols.

Brief trip to the range and all is well. Used Fiocchi ammo.

Nice. It took me a long time to find a Interarms/Ranger/early S&W PPK in .32.

My box has S&W molded in the lid. But, no S&W markings on the gun.

Those are stupid hard to find.

Does yours say “Walther USA” on the slide like mine? Also, does the serial number end with “AAA”?

I am just trying to get more information on these transition models.

Thanks,

Thanks for the information on your PPK.

I have a .32 PPK/S that has the same markings as your PPK. Between that and this PPK I am a happy camper.

Trooper Joe.....do you have a source or a reference to serial numbers of German made PP's ? I've had one for years and am curious just how old it is.

Don’t know how old your gun is. But, check the barrel hood for a proof mark (probably an antler) an Nitro proof mark and a year.

There sure is....there's Phoenix type bird like the Ruger trademark, 66 and a single antler. This thing is a beauty and not a mark on it anywhere. Imgur has stopped letting me post or I'd show it off. Thanks Sgt !

Try postimage.org and enlarge the image before you post here.

Trooper Joe, I tried google-searching your image but it didn't bring me to the AK-ARMS auctions. Any chance you can link it here? My pre-WWII PPK is so worn that I'm hesitant to carry it!

I’m the same. Or I’d post a pic. I finally gave up after the photo bucket fiasco. I just got better at describing stuff.

But, yes. Your gun was made in 1966!
