I'm looking for a duty-style holster (double mag; ideally nylon and not leather), that will accommodate extended capacity double-stack mags (i.e., for 226, 20 round 9mm or 15 round 40cal). I usually use Bianchi mag holsters, but my weapon holster is Safariland, so I like them as well.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or knows what model number to get?

you may want to go the open-top mag pouch route. My agency did and it certainly sped up my reloads, plus I could carry extended mags without any issue. The only downside is that the mags are more exposed to the elements and should be wiped down periodically. But that goes for any magazine, regardless of how carried.
These are what we use. They're available in double and triple, in just about any magazine brand and finish you need. I've been happy with the retention (been in plenty of roll-arounds and never lost a mag), and they're worlds better than the old flap+snap type for reload speed.
Since they're open top, there are no issues with extended mags. I carry 17 rounders in mine, but I know several guys who use them with the 21s with no complaints.
