I don't own it anymore as I really didn't end up liking the balance of the heavier slide, but it sure was pretty

I really liked my Beretta a lot but the grip just never fit me and I suffered at the range with accuracy so I sold it. Sometimes I wish I kept it just to have it around and just shoot it once and a while but it's gone. These guns pictured all look fabulous

Does Beretta still sell those white grips? Those would look good on my Roanoke PD Inox trade-in.

You know, I did some looking yesterday, and some more right after I read your post. I can't find the grips on my pistol anywhere, not even another picture. Probably not new production, and I'm pretty sure they're not OEM, there's bordering around the grips and contouring around the magazine catch that are present on factory panels that don't exist on mine.
The guy I bought the pistol from is in his 70's and is a collector thinning the herd. I may not be done buying Berettas from him. Anyway, nice guy. I'll ask him about the grips later today.
These are missing the logo, but they come pretty close. I think I may pick up a set eventually because I really love G10's.

Oh, so that's the pistol that got the nickname. I thought it just referred to pistols with all stainless controls.

Well, I picked it up last night. I’ll take some decent pics when I get home from work. Unloaded with an empty magazine, and without the comp mounted, it’s as heavy as my 92FS with an 18rd mag in it. The grips aren’t white, they’re very light gray. I haven’t had them off yet, but I shined a light in the magazine well and they say Hogue on the back of the panels. I still can’t find anything about them online. Think I’ll email Ken and see if he knows anything about them.
There’s little rust spots in every crevice of the slide. I cleaned off some of it, but I’m going to go to town on it tonight. Anyone had this problem? I kinda wonder if an ultrasonic cleaner and some sort of solution would be the ticket for getting all this stuff cleaned up. I don’t see any evidence of pitting anywhere, but the rust is everywhere.

This one just came into the shop on consignment two weeks ago. It sat on the shelf for about a week so I decided to give it a home.

They are good looking guns and durable. Had a 92FS for a while, but could not get used to the red sights on it. I guess I'm used to white or the green night sights.

Gorgeous. Yours is in nicer shape than mine.
Speaking of, I tried taking some decent pics when I got it home, had a hard time with the lighting, and promptly stuck it in the safe and forgot about it. I swear, I'm like a cat chasing a laser. It was overcast today when I got home, so here we go. Visible are some of the rust spots that came with it. I'm not sure what to go after them with yet, but letting it sit in the safe like this isn't going to solve anything, that's for sure.
I sent Ken at Hogue an email. Going to have some custom grips cut for it maybe next month. We'll see. Don't have a timetable for moving to Arizona yet. I asked him, and he said they've never made the set I'm going to have done, so we'll see how they turn out! I just emailed him back to ask if he knows the story on these ones on the gun. They are marked Hogue on the inside, but I cannot find another picture or listing of these anywhere online. I just took one off and I'm about positive these are aluminum.

On the left is a standard 21, the right one is a factory "High Polish" 21 that's un-fired.

Nice, Geno!
So I heard back from Ken at Hogue. The grips on my pistol are indeed Hogue aluminum clear anodized. These used to be available with the Beretta logo, but they are not now. I asked him if someone could order a set, and he said sure, if they want to order a minimum run of 50 sets. Ooof.
So, anyone who wanted these, I have run down what they are, and where they’re not available from. Buddy of mine who is a big Beretta fan said they were probably a contract run for some oddball run of pistols. They may even be original to the frame.

Your buddy is probably right about a special run and it's nice that Ken from Hogue answered your inquiry, they are a good company and I have a bunch of their grips.

Care package today from this guy named Ernest who has a little place around the corner from me....
I don't know what the previous owner had in here for a hammer spring, but it sure as hell was a lot more than 13#. Good. God. Just that change alone made a huge difference. Gotta go pick up my son, I'll mess with the trigger bar later. Hopefully that gets it the rest of the way. Quite frankly, the trigger in this pistol was atrocious, and it's still a long way off from my other 92FS that I swapped these parts on last year.
