Ive shot my MK25 for a couple of years in USPSA. I just recently acquired an X5 and now use it in competition. The X5 is more accurate, faster transitions and faster on the draw. Yet in a gunfight or battle (not likely as I'm no hero and closer to a wus) my go to or first choice would be the MK25. More comfortable, DA first pull is reassuring and somehow just NICE.

Anyone else feel like that? Choosing an arguably a marginally less capable firearm over another?

I should be tall and rich too; That ain't gonna happen either

The X5 is bigger, bulkier, heavier, and is a SAO (unless you're talking the Allround). I wouldn't want to lug it around for a fight, unless it's the only available pistol.

Have a Mk25 that was worked by Grayguns. It's sweet. After buying a few Legions the 226 Legion runs circles around it in every way including ergonimics. Mine is currently with Rick Holm. It's going to the next level.
