Picked this up this week. Kinda going to be a novelty item. I won't CCW it or do any training with it, but its just going to sit there and look pretty.

They're cool but not much smaller and mags are super expensive. I have two Type M's, both 92SB Compacts.

I've got a Type M 92SBC. Feels superb in the hand.

Here are the pics that were on the Gunbroker ad. This is ANIB, unfired. The pics, as they say, don't do the pistol justice. It looks dirty or the bluing on the slide looks faded, but it's pristine- a lovely luster blue finish.

Yup. I’ve held off for a couple years but finally folded. Wink

I think the G-conversion kits have really helped get more people on the boat.

Man those are sweet. I've always had a hankering for a type M. Missed out on one that summit gun broker had a while back. Usually they go for well above what I'm willing to pay. Enjoy it...you got a beauty there!

It's your money to spend as you wish, but I would not by a gun a didn't intend to use. Very nice looking gun, by the way, so maybe just looking at it is good. Smile

I have been on the lookout for one of these for many years. It seems every time I come across one it was either just sold or stupid expensive.

Congrats on a cool pistol.

PGT, what's the proof date on your pistol? Mine is 1989, serial number in the D778xxZ range.

AU as well on the carried example. These came from the same owner so I assume the one I posted is the same or close. I'll check next time I have the safe open

A D model was also offered which is perhaps the ultimate carry 92. One recently sold on GB for well over a grand

Yes, that would be 1989. Probably from the same run.
