I have 4 of the 32-J for the .327 Fed for my sp101 and lcr. 2 out of the 4 have lost the small ball bearing that locks in the cartridges.

I want to contact HKS to advise them of these failures after very little use.
Website does not seem to show any method of contact.
Anybody have a HKS package to check and see if it is listed there?

I have several of the .38/.357 6 shot since late 80s or early 90s that have had a bunch of use and I don't recall any failing nor has any of my 5rd .38/.357 ones.

Spoke to HKS on Monday 3/22 and told them my situation. Nice lady there ask me to send them back for inspection for quality control reasons.
Promised to to send me replacements for my bad ones and a extra one of my choice for my trouble.Put my bad ones in the mail today.

That’s a totally fair outcome I think.

Safariland doesn’t appear to make speedloaders for the .327 fed mag. Actually it doesn’t look like they make speedloaders for any SP101 in any caliber. They make great speedloaders but they have a very limited selection.

I have a large Ziplock bag full of HKS Speed Loaders from my old revolver days. Never had one fail. And they all have been dropped multiple times on hard surfaces. The Safariland loader is faster to use but I believe HKS is the more durable of the two. They just work!

Gotta go with the flow here. I've used the same 5 & 6 rd HKS Speed Loaders for years & none have ever failed.

I have two (SF) from my first revolver I got when I was maybe 15 (they must be at least 30-40 years old) that still work. I kind of think speedloaders are tough to break.

Didn’t know about SF limited selection. Shouldn’t surprise me though. Every time I go to their website and try to use their “holster finder” I end up amazed that they still are in business. Lol

Ball bearing holes are just not what they used to be.

I have them for my Ruger SP101 327 Federal.
Never had a problem with the 4 I have.
But I am not using them every day.

But Tuff Strips made for 32/327 cartridges are not very good. I purchased a dozen of them several years ago, carried them in a nylon belt pouch. After a couple of months they wiuld disintegrate . They were a more compact carry option than the speedloaders.

Lots of places to get 'ball bearings'. Check with a local bicycle shop. I use them to make up 'dummy' cartridges with different bullet profiles. And yes, I have more than a few HK loaders, both revolver and pistol.
