For a number of years (about 5) it was an M11-A1, until I happened on a brand new 220 DA/SA 10mm in a local LGS. After putting it through a couple hundred round testing, it promptly became my EDC. It's slightly heavier than the M11, but the 10mm round is a big plus for me. I carry it in a custom pancake holster with a corduroy vest over, and 2 reloads ...lots of confidence in the 10mm.

I go between my SIG P220, Glock 22 or 17 most of the time. Lately with the nuttyness goings on its been the Glocks.
I rarely carry a Beretta 96D, mostly because it lacks night sights and I only have 10 round magazines for it (from the dark ages of the Clinton assault rifle ban).
I do have more compact pistols, but I carry the full size ones the most.
More compact options are Glock 27, SIG P6, HK P7. Yet I feel more comfortable with the full size pistols.
I carry everyday, I can't at work, but on weekends and none work days I carry all day.
Glock 19 Gen 4 in a Stealthgear Onyx IWB @ 2:00 and two 17+2's in Desantis carriers if I'm putting on pants, until it's time to go to bed, every day. Around the house, or just stepping out to get the mail or such, it's the G42.

Glock 19 Gen 4 OWB with 2 extra mags on the opposite side every day, any weather, every time I step out of the front door. Loose fitting black t-shirt is all I ever need to conceal.
