I frequently carry my G43 in a Desantis ankle rig and find it to be manageable and comfortable. I only have the flush base plates and it does not print much and conceals well.

Glock 43 in a Galco ankle glove. I also carry it with a +1 Taran tacticle, it is no more room than the flat base plate

Here there is no failure, only varied degrees of success!
