glock people, come on in...
Hey, so I have a nice gen 4 , model 22 that was gifted to me as a retirement gift. I am looking to put a flat face trigger, a 357 Sig BBL and a 9mm BBL (for range and schools) . I am thinking just a stock BBL of the 357 sig , maybe a lone wolf for the 9, but i know nothing about GOOD flat faced triggers. Money is not an issue. Thanks for your input !

thanks, shawn

Overwatch Precision is the only flat faced I've had first hand experience with and they are good to go function wise, but flat face shoes just feel awkward to me.

I'd give the new Johnny Glocks VEX trigger a try if I were in the market. It's sort of a hybrid being straight faced, but rounded off edges rather than feeling like a lego brick on your finger pad. https://johnnyglocks.com/produ...riant=39374320861226

Congrats on your model 22. Mine is good with four calibers (no 22lr yet) and a carbine kit.

I've been using Salient triggers in most of my Glocks.

Let us know what you decide.

I have both overwatch precision and an agency syndicate in my Glocks. I prefer the agency syndicate but it’s not a huge difference and the overwatch is a great trigger. I’d also go for the oem Np3 minus connector and np3 safety plunger from overwatch precision. Those 3 parts made my Glocks trigger super smooth and nice

I have a G22 that I did the same things to, that you want to do.

Here's the parts I used.

Vickers Tactical for the trigger.
Rock Slide for the 357 Sig and 9mm conversion barrels. These are high quality barrels, no problems using them in my G22.

Keep in mind that the 9mm conversion barrel will not be 100% reliable. Running 9mm mags will help reduce failures.

On the 357 I will start off saying that I had issues running 40sw mags with 357 ammo. People will say it will work fine, but I verified with Glock that the followers are different.

I run a KKM barrel on my G35. Maybe consider getting a threaded barrel in case you decide to run a compensator in the future. I only say that because I have a major itch to try one of these to see how flat it shoots.

Another option to consider. Flat faced trigger. But also a different style of action if you're interested, especially for a range gun.

It's been working well for me so far. It's a consistent implementation whereas other options like Ghost and TT have been more variable, unit to unit.

Of all of the aftermarket triggers that I've tried to date, I still prefer the tunable ZEV Fulcrum curved flat faced trigger over everything else. Straight triggers are okay, but I seem to jibe more consistently with curved bows especially when it comes to handguns.

I've heard good things about the Timney Alpha, which I've not tried yet. I've got a so far unmolested Gen5 G17 wasting away in the safe that's just ripe for some trigger mods, and I've been thinking it may be the right candidate for the Timney, despite its straight config.

VERY nice, and good info, i plan to order 3 357 sig mags, it will be a work gun so I am going for reliability

Slightly off topic but I dropped a KKM barrel in my G21 for running cast lead ammo and it runs like a top. Very pleased with KKM’s quality on my particular barrel.

I like the Suarez flat faced triggers and the nice thing is you can get them as a trigger kit or just a shoe if you want to keep the rest of the factory trigger assy. I have several and not one issue.

You can get the overwatch precision as just the trigger shoe too
